Kristensen earned his second Cobras’ monthly honor by leading Parkland to a second straight Region 24 Championship and the program’s third best finish at NJCAA Championships with a 73.1 stroke average in seven postseason rounds. Beginning with winning the Region 24 individual title, Kristensen posted two rounds at 1-over 71 to win by six strokes. A week later, Kristensen led the Cobras to fifth at NJCAA Championships when he tied for eighth to earn his second straight First Team All-America honor, capped by a 1-under (71) final round. Earlier in the week, Kristensen was also named a PING First Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of the America during the pre-tournament awards banquet.
