Cole Evans, the second-year outfielder from Grand Island, Neb., helped lead his team to a record of 12-6 in the month of March. He slashed a .431/.529/.931 over 18 games that included 21 runs and 23 RBIs. His 25 hits included 6 doubles and 7 home runs. The Grand Island Senior High School alum went 4-for-5 on March 30 vs. Lewis & Clark, scoring 3 runs and knocking in 2 more on two singles, a double, and a home run.

Evans is the son of Cody Evans and Katie Evans. His academic pursuits at Parkland are general studies.
