Naomi McDaniel, the sophomore from Attica, Ind., helped lead her team to an overall record of 5-1 during the month of April in games that included the Central B District Championship and the NJCAA DII National Championship. She averaged 12.8 points, 9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks over the 6 games, shooting 52.5% from the field and 76.5% from the line. The Attica High School alum helped lead her team to a Third Place national tournament finish and was selected to the NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team.
"We are very proud of Naomi, as she has put in countless hours, both on and off the court,” expressed Head Coach Allie Lindemann. "She is a phenomenal student, athlete, and teammate with an extremely bright future."
McDaniel is the daughter of Ami and Dustin McDaniel. Her academic pursuits at Parkland are general studies.
