In its third straight set victory of the weekend, Parkland again hit at a high rate with a .324 percentage, led by double-digit kills from freshman Amanda Greening and sophomore Shelby Nunamker. After recording 21 kills between Friday's two victories, Greening picked up right where she left off with 14 more kills against Neosho on 25 attacks. Nunamker joined her with 11 kills of her own while committing just one error on 23 attempts. Katelyn Riffle just missed making it three Cobras in double figures as the opposite hitter added in nine kills. Highlighted by Ryleigh Warfel's all-around performance, the Cobras swept Grand Rapids for the second time this season, as Parkland hit .257 and put up 10 blocks on the top-10 team. Parkland first beat Grand Rapids back on September 1.

Following a quiet start to the weekend from Parkland's kills leader, Ryleigh Warfel, the freshman outside hitter saved her best performance for last to help the Cobras sweep past Grand Rapids. Warfel pounded the Grand Rapids defense for 16 kills on the day, the most by the first-year Cobra since an 18-kill performance at Lincoln Land on September 5. On defense, Warfel added in 10 digs, recording her 12th double-double of the season, and set a season-high with six blocks.

Joining Warfel in anchoring the defense on Saturday afternoon was middle blocker Dakota Harmon and defensive specialist Maggie Sorenson. Harmon tied Warfel with six blocks for the team lead, while Sorenson recorded 20 digs. The 20 digs for Sorenson marks the third time this season that the sophomore has reached 20 or more and the first in a three-set match.
