Yu Sasaki and Takumi Seo each netted two goals apiece, while Michael Garza and
Harry Messitt added goals.
After three goals in the first half, Parkland put the match away with eight goals over 28 minutes in the middle of the second half. Aiding the attack were four-assist performances from sophomore strikers
Naoto Uede and
Yu Sasaki. In total, Sasaki had a team-high eight points.
With two more goals and four assists on Saturday, Sasaki now ranks top-10 in NJCAA Division I in goals (11, 8
th), assists (7, 4
th) and points (29, 6
th). The 11 goals surpass his total from 2018, while the seven assists match last season's output and the 29 points are one shy of last year's total.

Artem Burnett picked up the victory with a clean 90 minutes, saving three would-be Kankakee shot attempts.
