Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland men's soccer team won their final home game of the season on Wednesday night, defeating Lincoln Trail College 4-1. Parkland has now won seven games in a row and have scored at least three goals in their last three games. The Cobras will finish the year 5-1-1 at home.
 
The Cobras (12-2-1) could not have asked for a better start, when Yamato Kline scored in the opening minute and Jonathon Velasquez followed with a goal in the 15^th minute. Sophomore Eikichi Saito also found the back of the net in the 36^th minute, but the Statesmen (4-11-1) quickly responded, scoring an unassisted goal in the 37^th. Parkland had a much quieter second half, only registering four shots on goal, but freshmen Ben Martin was still able to score his second goal of the season in the 50^th minute to make it 4-1. Parkland goalkeeper Sebastian Staddon had two saves in the win.
