Box Score CEDAR RAPIDS, IA., – The No. 3 seeded Parkland College volleyball team defeated No. 6 seed Terra State Community College in four sets to advance to the NJCAA DII National Semifinals. Parkland advances to the semifinals for the 10
th straight year after beating Terra State CC (26-24, 25-14, 20-25, 25-12) on Thursday night.

The Cobras (54-3) were locked in a battle early on with the Titans (35-4), who came into this quarterfinal matchup on a nine-match win streak. The first set went into extra games, but the higher-seeded Cobras were able to prevail. Things went much more smoothly in the second set, but Terra State was not going to let their season end in straight sets. After battling back to win the third set, the Titans just couldn't match the Cobras fire power in the fourth and Parkland advanced to the semifinals thanks to a 3-1 win.
Elle Schupbach had a huge game, finishing with 14 kills, 10 digs and 2 blocks to lead the Cobras in scoring.

Up next, Parkland will battle against No. 2 seed Iowa Central in the NJCAA DII National Tournament Semifinals on Friday, November 19
th. That match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM CT.
