CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 1 Parkland College Volleyball (16-0) swept two more non-conference matches Sunday, taking care of both Kankakee CC and Frontier CC. The Cavaliers (6-6) and the Bobcats (1-14) were in Champaign competing in Parkland Tri #3.
Up next, the Cobras travel to Springfield, Ill., for an important M-WAC showdown with No. 14 Lincoln Land College on Wednesday, March 3, at 6:00 pm.
No. 1 Parkland- 3 Kankakee- 0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-13)
Halle Everett (10 kills, 10 digs, 4 blocks, 3 aces) notched her sixth double-double of the season, landing second on the team for kills, digs, and blocks, and leading the Cobras in service aces.
Hailey Sperling (14 kills, 2 blocks) led Parkland in kills, and
Brittney Litton (14 digs) was on top for digs.
Summerlyn Smith (37 assists, 9 digs) took care of initiating the offense, while
Jayden Sortor (7 kills, 7 blocks, 4 digs) was dominate at the net.

Arika Richardson (8 kills, 3 blocks) and
