CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Parkland's men's soccer team bounced back from a tough loss earlier this week, getting a 4-1 home win against John Wood Community College on Saturday, September 18
th.

The Cobras (6-2-1) got on the board early when
Parker Theobald scored an unassisted goal in the 8
th minute. Then Guiseppe Verrecchia netted his first of three goals in the 36
th, making it 2-0 at half. The Blazers (3-5-2) responded with a goal in the 50
th minutes, but Verrecchia finished his hat trick in the 65
th and 84
th to make it 4-1 and to get the Cobras back in the win column. The Cobras had nine shots on goal and goalkeeper
Frank Heck had three saves in the win.
