FORT DODGE, Iowa – The No. 1 Parkland College volleyball team faced two ranked opponents on Friday night at the Triton Volleyball Invitational – No. 11 Hawkeye CC and No. 2 Iowa Central CC – and came away with one win and one loss.
The Cobras (14-1) picked up a 3-1 win against the RedTails (5-3), but in a battle of No. 1 vs. No. 2, were swept, 0-3, by the undefeated Tritons (10-0).
Up next, Parkland remains in Fort Dodge for two more matches in the Triton Volleyball Invitational. The Cobras will face the William Penn JV squad and the North Dakota State College of Science on Saturday, September 4.
