Box Score BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The Parkland College men's soccer team trailed in the first half in a Region 24 rematch at Southwestern Illinois College, but the Cobras fought back to secure the 2-1 victory over the Blue Storm in overtime. Sophomore
Sam Rummenie scored the go-ahead goal in extra time on an assist from
Nathan Torres to give the Cobras their second overtime win of the season. The win completes the season sweep over the Blue Storm, who the Cobras last defeated 4-1 in Champaign back on September 10th.

The Cobras (5-6-2) conceded an early goal and the Blue Storm (6-9) led 1-0 at halftime. Parkland forced extra time in Belleville with the help of Austrian midfielder Daniel Djordvevic's equalizer in the 64th minute and sophomore goalkeeper
Frank Heck's three huge saves in his eighth start of the season. In the end, it was Urbana native
Sam Rummenie who buried the go-ahead goal for the Cobras in the 98th minute, giving the team a 2-1 victory over their regional foe.
