Box Score EAST PEORIA, Ill. – The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team hit the road for a battle with regional-foe No. 10 Illinois Central College on Thursday, October 6th, and the Cobras (37-1) came out on top as the team defeated the Cougars (21-10) in straight sets. The win gives Parkland College their 36th straight win and their 15th straight on the road. Freshman outside hitter Kayla Pacha led the team with 12 kills while sophomore middle blocker Kat Blase tallied 8 kills and four blocks, posting a hitting percentage of .727 in the win.
 
Up next, the Cobras will compete in the Kirkwood Tri in Cedar Rapids, Iowa this weekend, starting with two matches on Friday, October 6th against No. 9 Kirkwood Community College and 3rd-ranked Division I Indian Hills Community College-Ottumwa at 1:00 and 3:00 PM, respectively.
