Box Score 2 CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team faced a tough challenge on Friday afternoon as the Cobras defeated No. 9 Kirkwood Community College before losing to Division I No. 3 Indian Hills Community College-Ottumwa at the Kirkwood Tri in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Parkland (38-2) took down Kirkwood (24-5) on their court in a five-set thriller to extend their winning streak to 37 matches in a row before falling in three sets to Indian Hills (30-2). Landry Warfel tallied 46 assists over the two matches. The Cobras are now (8-1) against ranked Division II opponents this season.

Up next, the Cobras will enjoy some time off before traveling to Belleville, Illinois next Saturday, October 15th for the Southwestern Illinois College Tri. Parkland matches up against SWIC at 12:00 PM and NAIA Saint Ambrose University JV at 2:00 PM.
