Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 1 ranked Parkland College volleyball team wrapped up their School's Back Tournament with another 2-0 day on Saturday, August 27th, defeating both Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Rock Valley College in straight sets. The Cobras got a big offensive performance from freshman outsider hitter Chloe Byrd, who led the team with 24 kills, while sophomore libero Josie Hess held down the defense with 27 digs. Parkland (9-1) finishes the tournament with a perfect 4-0 record.
 
Up next, the Parkland will travel to Quincy, Illinois on Wednesday, August 31st for a conference matchup against John Wood Community College. The Cobras' first MWAC match of the 2022 season is set for 6:00 PM.
