Â
The Cobras (20-2) came into Wednesday's game expecting a battle against their conference foe and that's just what they got. The Loggers (12-10) hung around in the first and second set, but it wasn't enough to stop the Cobras from taking a 2-0 lead. Lincoln Land got a hot start in the third set and never relinquished their lead, winning the third set 25-18. The Cobras responded quickly, however, jumping on the Loggers and taking the fourth set 25-15 to secure the 3-1 conference victory.
Â
Up next, the Cobras return home to host the Parkland Fall Challenge at the Donald Doss Athletic Complex this weekend. The tournament begins on Friday, September 16th when Parkland matches up against Des Moines Area Community College at 2:00 PM before the team takes on Owens Community College at 4:00 PM.
