Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team continued its strong stretch of play on Wednesday, September 21st as the Cobras defeated 6th-ranked Heartland Community College in straight sets at home. Returning All-American Kat Blase exploded for 22 kills and 5 blocks to lead the team in points and sophomore libero Josie Hess tallied 29 digs in the top-10 matchup. The Cobras' win gives them their fourth straight win over a ranked opponent and extends Parkland's winning streak to 14 matches in a row.
 
Up next, the Cobras are competing in the Waubonsee Invite in Sugar Grove, Illinois this weekend, starting on Saturday, September 24th with Prairie State College at 11:00 AM.
