Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team defeated Lewis & Clark Community College in straight sets on Monday, September 5th in a one-match conference showdown. Sophomore Kat Blase led all Cobras with 16 points while freshmen Chloe Byrd led the team in kills with 11. With the win over the Trailblazers, the Cobras (15-2) improve to 5-0 at home on the season and 13-0 against unranked opponents.
 
Up next, Parkland College will travel to Henderson, Nevada this week to take part in the Coyote Classic, hosted by the College of Southern Nevada at the Vegas Aces Volleyball Club. The Cobras kick off their tournament against 12th-ranked Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Thursday at 3:00 PM CST before taking on the College of Southern Nevada at 9:00 PM.
