Box Score GODFREY, Ill. – The No. 8 ranked Parkland College men's soccer team battled on the road against No. 17 (DI) Lewis & Clark Community College on Saturday, October 14, but neither team could break through, and the game ended in a 0-0 tie. The Cobras (11-3-2) remain unbeaten in their last four games with the draw against the Trailblazers (10-2-3). Parkland recorded three shots on goal in the tie, and goalkeeper Harry Gray made four saves to keep Lewis & Clark quiet.
 
"While we obviously would have liked a win, a draw against a top-20 Division I program at their place is still pretty good," Sikora considered after the game. "We did have a few quality chances to go ahead, just couldn't convert. It was a tremendous defensive performance by the whole group, especially the backline of Manuel Miori, Hibiki Mizutani, Ebenezer Boti, Noah Barkley, Nathan Torres, Clinton Mawusi, and goalkeeper Harry Gray."
 
"Keeping Lewis and Clark off the scoreboard was job one, and the team did not disappoint today," Sikora revealed.
 
Up next, the Cobras will play their final home game of the season on Sunday, October 22, against Southwestern Illinois College on Sophomore Day. Kick-off against Blue Storm (8-5-2) is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Parkland College Soccer Field.
