Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 5 ranked Parkland College volleyball team kicked off the Region Crossover Tournament with wins over McHenry County College and Southeastern Illinois College. The Cobras (34-4) battled in a tight contest against the Scots (19-9) in their first match, winning 3-0. Parkland controlled the Falcons in straight sets to close out the day 2-0, with freshman Caylee Folken recording a season-high 22 assists and five aces. Sophomore Bri Struck led the team with 27 kills on Saturday as the Cobras won their fifth straight match.
 
Up next, Parkland College faces Frontier Community College and Rend Lake College on day two of the Region Crossover Tournament. Tip-off against the Bobcats (5-22) will be at 9:00 a.m. and the Cobras battle the Warriors (13-11) at 11:00 a.m.
