Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ROCKFORD, Ill. – The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team opened its fall 2023 campaign on Friday, August 18th, in Rockford, Illinois, at the Opening Weekend Tournament, going 1-1 on the first day of the three-day tournament. The Cobras lost their first match of the season 3-1 to No. 15 Gulf Coast State College before taking down the North Dakota State College of Science in four sets. Sophomore outside hitter Kayla Pacha led the offense with 31 kills, while Landry Warfel tallied 38 assists over the two matches on Friday.
 
Up next, Parkland remains in Rockford at the Opening Weekend Tournament, playing two matches tomorrow, August 19th. The Cobras will face Bryant & Stratton College at 11:00 AM and No. 14 Moraine Valley Community College at 1:00 PM. For more information, visit the tournament website here.
