Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ROCKFORD, Ill. – The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team wrapped up their trip to the Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford, Illinois, by taking down Highland Community College and Oakton College on Sunday, August 20th. The Cobras (5-1) extended their winning streak to five matches with straight-set wins over the Cougars (1-4) and the Owls (0-3), finishing the Opening Weekend Tournament with a 5-1 record.
 
Up next, Parkland hosts the Parkland "School's Back" Tournament next weekend, August 26-27, at the Donald C. Dodds Jr. Athletic Complex. The Cobras will face No. 16 Hawkeye Community College and Southwestern Illinois College on Friday at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, respectively.
