Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The No. 4 ranked Parkland College volleyball team extended its winning streak to 12 straight matches with a 2-0 day as the Cobras defeated Terra State Community College and Lansing Community College at the Owens Invitational on Friday, September 1st. The Cobras (12-1) played spoiler at the two-day tournament, beating the Titans (0-1) in their first match of the season and handing the Stars (6-1) their first loss of the season. Sophomore outside hitter Bri Struck led Parkland with 24 kills, and freshman defensive specialist Elizabeth Bodine held down the defense with 30 total digs on Friday.
 
Up next, the Cobras battle No. 6 Richard Bland College and Kalamazoo Valley Community College tomorrow, September 2nd, on the final day of the Owens Invitational in Perrysburg, Ohio. Parkland takes on the Statesmen (5-2) at 9:00 AM EST and the Cougars (0-4) at 2:30 PM EST on Friday.
