Box Score NORMAL, Ill. – The No. 5 ranked Parkland College volleyball team dropped a hard-fought conference match on the road to No. 7 Heartland Community College on Wednesday, September 13th, as the Hawks (12-2) defeated the Cobras (18-3) in five sets. Parkland fell behind early but battled back to take a 2-1 lead following a dramatic third set. Up next, the Cobras return to Normal, Illinois, to compete in the Heartland Invite this weekend. Parkland opens against John A. Logan (8-1) on Friday, September 15th, at noon before taking on North Iowa Area Community College (8-8) at 2:00 PM.
