Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 5 ranked Parkland College volleyball team added another conference win over John Wood Community College, sweeping the Blazers on Wednesday, September 27. The Cobras (24-3) (3-1) opened the match by scoring seven straight points on their way to a 25-8 win in set one, and the hosts won set two 25-11 and set three 25-16. Sophomore outside hitters Bri Struck (10 kills, 4 digs) and Chloe Byrd (10 kills) led Parkland in kills, while sophomore Emma Robben (4 kills, 5 blocks) recorded a team-high five blocks.
 
Up next, the Cobras will host the Parkland College Fall Challenge this weekend. Parkland faces No. 20 Des Moines Area Community College (14-4) and Owens Community College (11-5) on Friday, September 29, at 10:00 a.m. and noon, respectively.
