Box Score DANVILLE, Ill. – No. 4 Parkland volleyball picked up a conference win against Danville Area Community College (10-20) on Wednesday, October 16th. The Cobras (38-2) defeated the Jaguars in three sets for the second time this season and improve to 7-0 in conference play.
The Cobras controlled the match, not allowing the Jaguars to score more than 15 points in a set.
Addie Beekman, who has 339 kills this season (15th in NJCAA DII), led the Cobras with 11 kills.
Brooklyn Holdener and
Hailey Warfel also contributed significantly, adding 10 kills each.
Libby Bodine and
Alayna Rudebeck led the team in digs with 21 and 15, respectively. Bodine and Rudebeck also added 4 aces apiece.
Up next, the Cobras play in the Southwestern Illinois College Tri on Saturday, October 19th. Parkland will face Division I Southwestern Illinois College (16-11) at 11:00 AM and Missouri Baptist University JV at 1:00 PM in Belleville, Illinois.
