Box Score EAST PEORIA, Ill. – No. 4 Cobras volleyball defeated No. 12 Illinois Central College (17-7) in five sets on Wednesday, October 2nd. The Cobras (28-2) fell behind early, losing the first two sets to the Cougars. Parkland battled back in the third set, winning 25-23, and went on to win the fourth and fifth. 
 
Addie Beekman dominated the offense with 22 kills, followed by Brooklyn Holdener with 15. In five sets, Beekman had 23 points and Holdener added 18. Hailey Warfel produced 32 assists, while also leading the Cobras in blocks with 5. The Cobras obtained 134 digs, with 34 from Libby Bodine, and 26 from both Addie Beekman and Alayna Rudebeck. 
 
Up next, Parkland plays in the Kankakee CC Tri on Saturday, October 5th. The Cobras face Morton College (9-12) at 1:00 PM and Kankakee CC (13-5) at 3:00 PM.
