Cobras Lose 3-1 at John Wood Community College

Parkland finishes the season 1-15-1

Box Score QUINCY, Ill. – The Parkland College women's soccer team lost to John Wood Community College on Tuesday, October 29th, in the NJCAA DII Region 24 quarterfinals. The Cobras (1-15-1) dropped out of postseason play with a 3-1 loss to the Blazers (4-9) in Quincy, Illinois. 
 
Jenna Clemmons scored in the third minute, getting the Cobras on the board first. The Blazers followed up with two goals in the first half, making it 2-1 at halftime. The score remained the same until the 66th minute, when the Blazers found the back of the net once more. Ella Gessner and Jenna Clemmons both had two shots on goal, and Grace Larson added one. Leire Rodriguez made 15 saves. 
 
Megan Janson and Jenna Clemmons led the Cobras in goals this season, both scoring two. The two Cobras also had five points apiece. Parkland ended the season with a record of 1-15-1.
