Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 6 Parkland men's basketball defeated Glen Oaks Community College (3-3) on Saturday, November 23. The Cobras (7-0) trailed by 19 points at the half, but came out in the second half to outscore their opponent 54-27 to win at home. 

With 14:01 on the clock in the first half, the Cobras trailed the Vikings 15-13. The Vikings then went on a 12-point run to make the score 27-13. Glen Oaks continued to tack on points for the remainder of the half and went into halftime with the 40-21 lead. At the beginning of the second half, the Vikings increased the lead to 23 points, but the Cobras slowly started to close the gap. With 12:36 on the clock, the Cobras had trimmed the lead to single digits after a Drew Lewis Jr. bucket. A few minutes later, Jaiden Martin put Parkland ahead 54-53 after sinking a three-pointer. The Cobras led with 5:00 left on the clock and did not allow the Vikings to pull ahead again. The Cobras remain undefeated after the 75-67 win and improve to 3-0 at home. 

Chandler Jackson and JaMonte Williams led the offense for the Cobras, scoring 20 points and 18 points, respectively. Jackson also produced a team-high ten rebounds. Drew Lewis Jr. led the team in assists with six. Parkland is currently 10th in the nation in points per game (93.7), 9th in field goals made per game (35.6), and 13th in three-pointers made per game (9.6).
