Box Score CENTREVILLE, MI. – The No. 5 Parkland men's basketball team started off strong and cruised to a 22 point victory over Glen Oaks Community College (6-7) on Wednesday, December 18.
JaMonte Williams and
Chandler Jackson led the offense with 18 points and 17 points, respectively, to help the Cobras improve to 12-1 and defeat the Vikings for the second time this season.
With 8:30 on the clock in the first half, the Cobras had the 17-12 lead. Following that, the Cobras outscored their opponent 15-3 to make the score 32-15 at halftime. The Cobras did not allow the Vikings to score until the 17:30 mark in the second half and extended the lead to 21 not long after.
The Vikings more than doubled their points in the second half, but the Cobras had already established a significant lead. Parkland maintained the double digit lead for the rest of the game and closed out the Vikings in a 75-53 win on the road.
