Box Score QUINCY, Ill. – No. 13 Parkland men's soccer defeated John Wood Community College (0-3-2) on Wednesday, September 18th. Parkland (3-1-2) had five Cobras score a goal in the win on the road. The match remained scoreless at the half, but the Cobras got on the board in the 48th minute with a goal from
Kaya Karabeyaz-Cowling.Â

"After a fairly rocky and even first half, we had to make some changes to personnel and strategy," Parkland head coach
Mark Sikora admitted. "Both really paid off in the second half with 5 different players scoring and keeping John Wood from registering a shot on goal. Every player pitched in but the creativity of
Christophin Ngassam really put us over the top today."
