Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 3 ranked Cobras volleyball team won two games against Hawkeye Community College (8-10) and Wabash Valley College (7-10) on Saturday, September 21st at the Mid-Season Invite. Parkland went 4-0 at the Mid-Season Invite, which was also hosted by the Cobras (23-1).
 
The Cobras won the first set (25-15) and second set (25-23) against Hawkeye Community College, but the RedTails came back to win the third set (25-22). The Cobras controlled the fourth set, winning 25-11, led by Shay McMillen with 14 kills. Parkland had 12 service aces and 75 digs in the win.
 
The second match of the day was against Wabash Valley College, which the Cobras won in three sets. Riley Ries had eight kills, Brooklyn Holdener had seven kills, and Addie Beekman had seven kills. 
 
Up next, the Cobras will compete in a conference match against John Wood Community College (8-8) on Wednesday, September 25th in Quincy, Illinois. The match is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
