Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 2 ranked Cobras volleyball team split the final day of the Parkland Fall Challenge on Saturday, September 28th, suffering its second loss of the season against No. 6 Kirkwood Community College. 
 
Parkland saw Kirkwood (14-5) in the first match of the day, losing in three close sets (24-26, 21-25, 23-25). Brooklyn Holdener ended up with 12 points and Addie Beekman added 11. The Cobras totaled 33 kills, 71 digs, and 12 blocks. 
 
After the loss in the first match, Parkland came back to defeat Madison College (11-7) in three sets (25-19, 25-13, 25-13). Addie Beekman had 10 kills, and Brooklyn Holdener and Maliah Sparks each added 9. Ashlee Freeman led the team in assists with 16. 
 
Up next, Parkland battles No. 12 Illinois Central College (16-6) in East Peoria, Illinois. The match is scheduled for 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 2nd.
