Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. –The No. 3 ranked Parkland College volleyball team won a hard-fought conference match against No. 4 Heartland Community College (9-1) on Wednesday, September 4th. Prior to the match, both teams were undefeated, earning top-five rankings in the latest NJCAA DII poll. The Cobras are now on a 13-match winning streak.

The Cobras (13-0) fell behind early, losing the first set (25-17) and second set (25-18). Parkland ended up overcoming the 0-2 deficit, however, winning the next three sets (25-22, 25-23, 15-12).
Brooklyn Holdener had 18 kills in the win. On the defensive side,
Libby Bodine (21 digs),
Alayna Rudebeck (20 digs), and
Addie Beekman (17 digs) combined for 58 of the Cobras' 93 digs.Â

Up next, the Cobras will compete in the Kirkwood Tri in Cedar Rapids, Iowa this weekend, starting with two matches on Friday, September 6th against Lincoln Land Community College and No. 14 Sauk Valley Community College at 12:00 and 4:00 PM, respectively.
