CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland College women's soccer team faced No. 6 Holmes Community College, the second top-10 ranked opponent the Cobras have seen in two days, on Saturday, September 7th. The Cobras fell behind in the first half and were unable to recover, ultimately losing to the Bulldogs 9-0. 
 
In the loss, Flynn LeMaire had a shot on goal and one corner kick. Leire Rodriguez had 26 saves.
 
Up next, the Cobras travel to Normal, Illinois, to play a conference match against Heartland Community College. Kick-off against the Hawks (4-1-1) is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11th.
