Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 7 Parkland men's basketball won a conference game against Lewis & Clark Community College (5-14) on Monday, January 20. The Cobras improve to 11-0 at home and 3-1 in conference play after the 17-point win. 

Parkland (18-2) got the 15-point lead with 5:08 on the clock after a Kobe Watson bucket made the score 33-18. The Trailblazers put the pressure on the Cobras after that, going on an 11-0 run to make it 33-29 going into halftime. The Trailblazers didn't let up in the second half, pulling within two points at the 14:43 mark. The Cobras handled the aggressive Lewis & Clark defense with composure, extending the lead back up to 14 points in the final five minutes of the game. The Trailblazers did not go away, however, cutting the deficit once again to just six points after an 8-0 run. Parkland managed to respond to the Lewis & Clark run with a 13-0 run of their own to get the win.  

The Cobras shot 27-51 (52.9%) from the field, 10-19 (52.5%) from three, and 15-21 (71.4%) from the free throw line. Parkland outrebounded Lewis & Clark 32-18 in the win.
