Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Parkland women's basketball defeated Kaskaskia College (2-18) on Wednesday, January 29. Five Cobras scored in double figures as the Cobras cruised to an 83-36 victory at home on Wednesday night. 
 
Parkland (13-9) struck early and often, leading the Blue Angels 18-8 after the first quarter and extending the lead to 41-16 by halftime. The second half was much of the same, and Kaskaskia fell behind by 39 points by the end of the third quarter. Stacie Vonderheide led the Cobras, recording a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Trinity Harden grabbed a season-high 6 steals in the 47-point win at home. 
 
Vonderheide is averaging 14.9 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game. Harden is averaging 6.4 rebounds per game, 4.3 assists per game, and 2.6 steals per game. The Cobras are currently ranked 12th in NJCAA DII field goal percentage (42.8%), 11th in free throw percentage (69.8%), and 28th in total points (1530).
