Box Score MILLINGTON, Tennessee – No. 13 Parkland College baseball powered past Arkansas State University - Mountain Home (3-6) on the final day of the Perfect Game Invitational in Millington, Tennessee, on Sunday, February 16. The Cobras (3-0) took down the Trailblazers 20-5 in seven innings.Â

ASUMH got on the board first, scoring three runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. Parkland answered in the top of the 3rd inning after
Adison Worthman singled to left field and scored
Mateo Casillas to tie the game 3-3. The Trailblazers took the lead again in the bottom of the 3rd inning, but the Cobra offense caught fire in the next four innings. Parkland tied the game for the final time in the top of the 4th inning after Casillas homered to right field, and then proceeded to score another 15 runs to secure the 20-5 win over ASUMH. Parkland compiled 12 hits in the game, including two from
Mateo Casillas,
Adison Worthman,
John Shuey, and
Andrew Gallegos. Worthman and
Will Applegate drove in four runs for the Cobras.Â
