Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 6 Parkland men's basketball team defeated Spoon River College (8-15) 83-68 on Saturday, February 15. The Cobras (24-2) picked up another conference win by beating the Snappers at home, improving to 9-1 in conference play, and winning their 10th game in a row. 

Parkland got a double digit lead with 12:21 on the clock in the first half after a Kris English layup put the Cobras up 16-5. The Snappers stayed in the game, cutting the lead to three points with 7:30 on the clock, but the Cobras extended the lead to nine points by halftime. The home team looked in control down the stretch in the second half, never giving up the lead. The Cobras outscored the Snappers 40-34 in the second half to secure the 83-68 win over their conference rivals. The Cobras remain undefeated at home (15-0) with one game remaining at the Donald C. Dodds Jr. Complex this season.
