Box Score GODFREY, Ill. – The No. 23 ranked Parkland College women's basketball team hit the ground running on Thursday, February 20, as the Cobras picked up a 100-54 win over Lewis & Clark Community College (3-24). All eight Cobras scored for Parkland, led by
Danielle Ruffin, who scored a season-high 25 points.

The Cobras (18-9) struck early, going on a 9-0 run in the first two minutes of the game. The Trailblazers struggled to score in the first 10 minutes, and the Cobras led 22-11 after the first quarter. The Cobras continued to dominate in the second quarter, and a
Savannah Shumate jumper with under a minute left in the half put the visitors up by 26 points. A Cobra foul in the final six seconds put the Trailblazers at the line, and a made free throw cut the lead by one point, giving Parkland the 48-23 lead at the break. Parkland's offense stayed hot in the third quarter, and the Cobras put another 30 points on the board. The fourth quarter was much of the same, and Parkland handed the Trailblazers the 100-54 loss on their home court. Parkland had 20 steals in the win, with Ruffin and
Stacie Vonderheide recording five apiece.Â
