Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 25 Parkland women's basketball won at home against Danville Area Community College (16-8) on Wednesday, February 5. Parkland (15-9) shot 80% from the free throw line in the win.

Maliah Sparks put the Cobras on the board first, and they never lost the lead after that. Parkland pulled ahead by ten by the end of the first quarter, and extended the lead to 21 by halftime.
Sofiia Fedina led the Cobras in the second quarter, scoring all seven of her points in the quarter to help give Parkland the 49-28 lead. Parkland continued to control the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Jaguars 21-11 to get a comfortable 31-point lead going into the fourth quarter. The Jaguars were unable to get much closer, and the Cobras won 86-59 at home.Â

Stacie Vonderheide (16 points) went 7-9 from the field and 2-2 from the free throw line in the win.
Trinity Harden (13 points) grabbed a team-high nine rebounds for the Cobras.Â
