Box Score 2 BOONEVILLE, Miss. – No. 13 Parkland baseball dropped two games to Northeast Mississippi Community College (13-10) on Friday, March 7. The Cobras (7-3) compiled 16 hits in the two games, but it wasn't enough to get a win against the Tigers.

Despite having seven hits in the game, the Cobras struggled to get on the board. The Tigers started to score in the 3rd inning and continued to tack on runs from there, but Parkland's only run came in the 7th inning thanks to a
Michael Carrano Jr. line drive to center field.
Adison Worthman led the Cobras with two hits in the 8-1 loss.
Cody DelFavero (4.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K) made the start in game one and took the loss for Parkland.
Cale Coursey (1.2 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 2 K) relieved the starting pitcher in the 5th inning, and
Collin Cirks (0.1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K) finished off the 6th inning for the Cobras.

Ryan Kondrad got Parkland on the board first in the second game of the doubleheader, doubling on a line drive in the top of the 2nd inning. Northeast Mississippi responded quickly, scoring five runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. The Cobras scored three more runs in the game, but the Tigers had a response every time.

Tyler Tylka (2.0 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 1 K) took the loss for the Cobras.
Lane Lorton (2.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K), Michael Boyce (1.0 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 1 K), and
Cade Starrick (1.0 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 4 R, 1 BB, 1 K) came on in relief.
