LA SALLE, Ill. – The No. 4 ranked Parkland College placed second at the Eagles Spring Invitational on Friday, April 18, at Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club. The Cobras led all 15 teams after round one on Thursday, April 17, with a score of 298 (+10). Illinois Central College climbed the leaderboard two spots after shooting a 294 (+6) in round two to pass the Cobras and win by one stroke. 
 
Ludvig Granlund led the Cobras with a score of 147 (+2), good for third place. Isaac Molloy placed fifth with a score of 149 (E) after shooting even par in round two, and Brando Signorini shot a 150 (+6) to earn 8th place. Cal Johnson (152, +8), Jason Runbom (158, +14), and Marcos Park (161, +17) all rounded out the scoring. Park moved up several spots on the leaderboard after improving his score by seven strokes in round two.

Up next, the Cobras compete in the I-74 Challenge, hosted by Heartland Community College, in Bloomington, Illinois. The I-74 Challenge is on Monday, April 21, at the Crestwicke Country Club.
