BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The No. 4 ranked Parkland College golf team finished second at the I-74 Challenge hosted by Heartland Community College at the Crestwicke Country Club on Monday, April 21. The Cobras finished round one with a score of 316 (+28) and round two with a score of 302 (+14) to combine for a two-round team score of 618 (+42). Parkland was two strokes behind Illinois Central College in round one, and fell just short in round two, and the Cougars defeated the Cobras for the second tournament in a row. 
 
Five Cobras placed in the top ten, led by Isaac Molloy, who placed second overall. Molloy finished with a score of 146 (+2), one stroke behind the winner from Heartland Community College. Ludvig Granlund improved his score by four strokes in round two to finish with a score of 156 (+12), and Will Seman, Cal Johnson, and Brando Signorini all finished with a score of 158 (+14). Will Ross (166, +22) and Marcos Park (168, +24) placed 21st and 25th, respectively.

Up next, the Cobras compete in the Region 24 Tournament in Springfield, Illinois, at Panther Creek. The tournament is Monday, April 28-Tuesday, April 29.
