OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The No. 4 ranked Parkland College golf team wrapped up the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate on Tuesday, April 8th, in a tie for 10th place at the two-day tournament hosted by Tennessee State University at the par-71 Hermitage Golf Club President's Reserve. The Cobras shot a third-round team score of 299 (+15) on Tuesday, adding to an opening-day score of 590 (+22) to finish at 889 (+37), tied with Miles College. Cal Johnson individually finished in a tie for 33rd, leading the way for the Cobras. 
 
"Not our best showing," Parkland head coach Nick Berger admitted. "We struggled around the greens and with players being sick this week. It's a great learning experience getting to play with DI players. Hopefully we can learn from this event to help us move forward through the season."
 
Up next, the Cobras compete in the Vincennes University Invitational in Jasper, Indiana, at the Sultan's Run Golf Club. The invitational is April 13-14.
