PLYMOUTH, In. – The Parkland College golf team currently sits in ninth place at the NJCAA DII National Championship in Plymouth, Indiana, after round one of the tournament. The Cobras finished with a score of 304 (+16), with Marcos Park leading the way in a tie for 4th with a score of 71 (-1). 
 
The Cobras battled in rainy and windy weather, resulting in a total of 3 delays on the first day. Approximately 10 groups had to finish the back nine on the morning of Wednesday, May 21, since they were unable to complete all 18 holes on day one. 
 
Cal Johnson and Isaac Molloy both finished round one with a score of 77 (+5), and Ludvig Granlund shot a 79 (+7).
