CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — September 16, 2025 — Parkland College men's soccer returned to the win column on Tuesday afternoon, defeating Illinois Valley Community College 4–1 at home. The victory improves the Cobras to 4–4 on the season.

Parkland's offense found its rhythm early, netting one goal in the first half before putting the match out of reach with three more in the second. Umberto Tucceri, Rommy Hassan, Isaac Warren, and Alexander Williams, and all scored for the Cobras. Gustavo Poli dished out two assists and Pierce Cannon added another, giving six different Cobras a direct hand in the scoring effort.

The team effort on offense produced 12 total shots, with all 12 landing on frame, highlighting Parkland's efficiency in front of goal. Defensively, the Cobras limited Illinois Valley to just one tally across the 90 minutes.

The Cobras will look to build on the momentum when they host No. 16 Heartland Community College on September 18th.
