Box Score MADISON, Wis. — September 27, 2025 — Parkland College men's soccer dropped a Region 24 matchup on Saturday afternoon, falling 3–1 on the road to Madison College. The loss moves the Cobras to 6–6 on the season.
The Wolves struck twice in the opening half, building a 2–0 advantage heading into the break. The Cobras cut the deficit early in the second half when Gustavo Poli scored unassisted in the 55th minute, his seventh goal of the season. Despite generating seven shots—six on target—Parkland was unable to find an equalizer before Madison sealed the match with an 86th-minute goal.
The match grew physical as both sides combined for multiple yellow cards and a red card apiece, adding to the intensity of the contest.
Parkland will look to regroup as it heads into a challenging test on the road against NJCAA Division I No. 1 Iowa Western Community College on October 2nd in Peoria, Illinois.
