Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Rockford, Il -- August 21, 2026 -- The No. 7 Parkland volleyball team started the 2026 season off strong with a pair of wins on the first day of the Opening Weekend Tournament. The Cobras earned two straight-set victories over Montgomery College and Allen County Community College to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Game 1: Parkland 3, Montgomery College 0
Parkland opened the season with a win over Montgomery College. Alanya Briggs led the attack with 9 kills, while Isabella McKinney added 7 kills while leading the team with 15 assists. On the defensive side, Jillian Schlittler and Khloe Stear each tallied 8 digs as the Cobras won in straight sets (25-18, 25-12, 25-15).

Game 2: Parkland 3, Allen County Community College 0
The Cobras kept up the momentum in their second match up of the day defeating Allen County Community College. Reis McFarland led the Cobras with 12 kills to go along with her 11 digs. Schlittler added 9 kills of her own in the offensive effort. On the defensive side, Khloe Stear led with 16 digs while Chloe Eeten paced the offense with 29 assists as the Cobras won in straight sets again (25-17, 25-18, 25-15).

The Cobras continue play in the Opening Weekend Tournament on Saturday facing off against Pima Community College at Noon followed by Moraine Valley Community College at 2 PM.
