Box Score 1 Rockford, Il. -- August 22, 2026 -- No.7 Parkland Volleyball continued their outstanding start to the season with two wins on Saturday at the Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford. The Cobras beat Pima Community College and Moraine Valley Community College to improve to 4-0, winning both matches in straight sets.

Game 1: Parkland 3, Pima Community College 0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-15)
The Cobras started out strong Saturday rolling past Pima Community College. Reis McFarland led the Cobras with 13 kills while hitting .545. Jillian Schlittler added 8 kills on .500 hitting while Alanya Briggs added 7 kills of her own. Chloe Eeten dished out 29 assists for the Cobras while Khloe Stear led the defensive effort with 15 digs.

Game 2: Parkland 3, Moraine Valley Community College 0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-13)
The Cobras kept the momentum going in the second match of the afternoon, beating Moraine Valley College. Mia Stivers and Reis McFarland each hit .625 while combining for 16 kills. Kendall Stotler and Isabella McKinney each added 6 kills, leading an effieicnt attack as the Cobras hit .485 as a team. Karaline Vanausdoll led the defensive effort with 11 digs while Jillian Schlittler added 9 digs of her own. Berkley Pullen and Jillian Schlittler combined for 27 assists to pace the Cobra offense to their fourth straight sweep of the season.

The Cobras wrap up the Opening Weekend Tournament with two matches on Sunday, facing off against Pasco-Hernando Community College at 9:30 AM followed by Enterprise State Community College to wrap up the tournament at 11:30 AM.
