Box Score Robinson, Il -- September 15, 2026 -- The Parkland men's soccer team played to a 2-2 draw Tuesday afternoon at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson.
After the two teams remained even through the first 50 minutes, the Cobras would strike first, jumping out to a quick 2-0 lead early in the second half thanks to two quick goals by
Charlie Dunn. The first came in the 50th minute on a penalty kick, followed by another off an assist from
Pierce Cannon in the 53rd minute. Despite the offensive surge from the Cobras, the Statesmen would respond with a run of their own, netting two quick goals to even the score, first in the 68th minute and later in the 71st minute to force the Cobras to settle for a draw.
Parkland finished with 14 total shots for the match with 5 on frame.
Charlie Dunn would lead the way for the Cobras with two shots on frame for two goals.
Marcos Arorez Campa,
Noah Molitor, and
Believe Avida would hit the other three shots on frame for the Cobras while combining for six total shots.
Pierce Cannon was credited for an assist on the second goal of the afternoon from Dunn, and
Hayden Litteken finished with three saves through 77 minutes at the net for the Cobras.
The Cobras move to 0-3-3 on the season, while Lincoln Trail moves to 0-2-2.
